Is the KonoKono Beach Resort for Me?
Konokono Beach Resort is located on the Michamvi Peninsula, on the South East Coast of Zanzibar and overlooks the wonderful Chwaka Bay. It provides the ultimate in barefoot luxury, boasting one of the island’s most beautiful beaches.
There are 24 villas and two beach pavilions. The villas come in four categories – sea view, two-bedroom sea view, garden view, and family. All benefit from air conditioning, ceiling fans, LCD television, mini-bar, electronic safe, and Wi-Fi.
Konokono’s communal lodge is positioned on top of cliffs overlooking the bay. It links to the villas along an attractive pathway lined with fragrant bougainvillea, while guests of the pavilions ascend a flight of steps to reach the building.
Although children are welcome, there is no kids club at the resort.
