Lion Camp is nestled in the remote northern part of Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park, a premier destination for genuine safari experiences. Its location, distant from the park’s main entrances, guarantees exclusive game sightings with minimal outside interference.
The camp is operating from May to October and strikes a fine balance between adventurous wildlife encounters and refined comfort.
Designed with an innovative ‘tree house’ concept, the lodge stands elevated from the valley, connecting the custom-designed canvas and thatch suites through an intricate walkway. Each suite offers expansive views of the oxbow lagoon and comes with a private shaded deck, providing secluded and serene moments in nature.
South Luangwa is well known for its walking safaris, a very different experience from game drives. It brings you in touch with the land, wilderness and eco-system of the bush. It is genuinely breathtaking to stride out into the bush with your guide and track wild animals.
