Maxa, Ker & Downey Botswana’s new property, in the South-Eastern Panhandle of the Okavango Delta, showcases the natural beauty of its location. Set beneath jackalberry and marula trees alongside the eastern shore of Maxa Lagoon, the camp seamlessly blends with its surroundings.
The main area, known as Maxa Piazza, features freestanding structures connected by natural pathways winding through the forest floor. The camp accommodates five rooms, including four standard twin/double ensuite rooms and a family room with a unique treehouse deck.
A highlight is the natural swimming pool that combines the Okavango’s natural filtration systems with cutting-edge environmental water treatment technology. The camp’s design emphasises both luxury and environmental consciousness, creating an intimate wilderness experience where you can observe diverse wildlife, including a resident coalition of four male lions, sable antelope, and elephants.
