Is the A&K Sanctuary Baines' Lodge for Me?
Named after the 19th-century explorer and painter Thomas Baines, Baines’ Lodge is the most intimate property in the A&K Sanctuary portfolio, featuring just six stilted suites in Botswana’s UNESCO-listed Okavango Delta.
Each expansive suite rises elegantly from the papyrus reeds, offering a perfect blend of pioneer spirit and modern luxury. Located within a 260,000-acre private concession adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve, the lodge provides an ideal setting for romantic getaways, with spectacular views over the Boro River and surrounding wetlands.
The elevated wooden suites feature outdoor baths and showers on private decks, perfect for stargazing while soaking. With a maximum of four passengers per game vehicle and access to both water and land activities, Baines’ Lodge offers an exclusive safari experience in one of Africa’s most significant wetland habitats.
