Kleenex Flower Route is blooming awesome

Author: Tiffany Bowers

Published: 16 September 2011

Spring has sprung and the West Coast is a riot of pollen and colour. Two things are always around, when a spread of stunning flowers are in blossom: 1. Tourists with cameras and, 2. Hayfever. So who better to team up with West Coast Tourism, Northern Cape Tourism and Cape Town Tourism than Kleenex?

The Kleenex Flower Route runs from the Western Cape to Springbok, with a display of flowers which can only be see once a year.

The route maps out some of the major flower route hotspots, viewing tips, species identification notes, and useful contact information.

The Kleenex Flower Route is great to experience when travelling from one destination to another on your self-drive holiday, so if its on your way, its a great idea to pair this awesome attraction with your tour. Hang, I’d even suggest going out of your way to see this scenic gem!
