An unsullied section of this mighty waterway between Angola and the vapor-shrouded Victoria Falls.
The Upper Zambezi River is a very long section of the river stretching from eastern Angola, but for our purposes, we refer only to the section just above and including the Victoria Falls. There are many unforgettable experiences to be had on this stretch of river. Marvel at the great falls, take a canoe trip through the Zambezi National Park and enjoy tiger fishing on the wide, slow-flowing river with the roar of the falls in the distance.
The Upper Zambezi is one of the quietest and most beautiful parts of the river, where the flow of the water has not been interrupted by waterfalls and dams. There is a sense, when paddling along this part of the waterway, that this is how the Zambezi should look, and would do if it were free of man’s influence.
