Wildebeest herd spotted in muddy waters in the Western Corridor!
This wildebeest herd was sighted in the Western Corridor near Mbalageti Safari Camp. The Grumeti and Mbalageti rivers run through this region, creating lush riverine environments that the wildebeest splash through daily. However, the wildebeest have to be wary, as the rivers, especially the Grumeti River, are known for large populations of Nile crocodiles, which pose a significant threat to the migrating wildebeest.
