This herd was spotted grazing near Naabi Hills in Tanzania’s Serengeti. If you look closely, you’ll catch the heartwarming sight of calves trotting alongside their mothers!
During the Great Migration, wildebeest calves are incredibly resilient; most are able to stand and run within just a few minutes of being born! This is crucial for their survival, as they must keep up with the herd to avoid predators like lions, hyenas, and crocodiles.
