Since the beginning, agents and staff of Discover Africa already work in a professional way for me to plan the trip. Their quick responses to my questions help us a lot before departing from our place to the Africa continent.

When we were in our trip, we can feel that everything is well arranged. All the guides for safari drives and staffs in lodges are doing their excellent jobs for us and we think the trip is really unforgettable. We can see some ‘world-class’ attractions during the trip, many amazing wild animals in the safaris and then we can enjoy and relax in the lodges.

All these are beyond our expectations. Thank you very much.

The communication regarding the trip was very smooth , taking care of each details, responding immediately to questions , queries . The safari was fantastic with a very professional guide . Absolutely meeting my expectations , I felt safe ,comfortable , inspired and enjoyed the Tanzanian adventure.

Right from the initial enquiry we were given useful advice on the type of trip to do in Botswana in February, the booking was handled efficiently, and all contact was of a friendly and courteous nature. We had some issues with our international flights, but our consultant (Judy Burrows) helped us to resolve these despite not having been involved in the booking process.

The safari itself ran very smoothly, from being met off our flight and assisted through the airport in Maun by representatives of the charter flight company (Moremi), through all the transfers between camps, and a final meet and transfer to our hotel at the end of our trip. The camps were all of an excellent standard, and we had many memorable sightings of animals and birds. The guides were very knowledgeable and skilled at tracking predators in particular.

The food was excellent, and rooms comfortable and clean. It was good to see that the safari company (Kwando) employed mainly local people at all levels including management, and the inclusion of a short session of singing and dancing by camp staff before dinner one night was a highlight of the holiday.

I would definitely use Discover Africa again for future trips.

Discover Africa was my first time using a travel agent. I was a bit nervous hiring a company online whom I’d never heard of, and then sending thousands of dollars over to. All I could hope for was that there was someone waiting for us when we showed up at the airport.

I had a ton of confidence immediately though as Adelle (our agent) answered all of my questions, updated our itinerary with new changes, and gave great recommendations for activities – as well as incorporating our own itinerary for a private Sheldrick Trust viewing. She was super helpful leading up to our trip. Her true value really showed when we got there, though. She was easy to reach when we had questions and made adjustments in the moment for us.

I got sick 3 days in and had to stay in the hospital for a few days, causing us to miss an entire part of our itinerary and two flights. Adele jumped into action with her local rep and made sure that we were taken care of, that our flights were completely rebooked (and we paid no extra money), and even got us a refund from the accommodation we were supposed to stay in! It was absolutely amazing. The safari we were supposed to go to also got flooded so our accommodation got moved.

It was a perfectly seamless transition for us, even though I imagine it was quite a bit of chaos behind the scenes. We got upgraded to a nicer camp and had transportation ready and waiting at each and every step.

I would recommend Discover Africa to every single person considering a trip to Africa. We for sure wouldn’t have been able to do all ourselves!

My wife and I spent a while doing research and talked to several groups to find the perfect balance of price, location, and luxury we were looking for on our 3 night safari as part of a honeymoon trip to South Africa.

Megan Warrington and her team understood exactly what we were looking for and found the perfect option for us (Jock Safari Lodge) that we wouldn’t have uncovered otherwise.

Not only that, but Discover Africa was so easy to deal with, very responsive any time we had questions, and provided just the right amount of communication in the lead up to our trip.

Frankly, I didn’t expect to enjoy the safari experience as much as I did. But it was incredible and now I’m trying to figure out a way to do it again. I’ll certainly be contacting Megan and Discover Africa for their guidance next time as well.

The safari tour was exceptional. The properties, guides and service were top-notch. Our expectations were very high and this trip far exceeded them. Communication was very good. Everything expected happened, plus more. Matthys worked very hard to help with everything that we needed.

Everything was as expected. Our vacation was amazing from transfers to lodging to activities. We had one small hiccup with a transfer; I contacted Discover Africa via email and Alice was immediately digging into the problem and guaranteeing no more issues. Our 2 safari lodges were incredible. I would definitely use Discover Africa again!

Megan and Alice were extremely helpful in setting up our customized safari at the little bush camp in Sabi Sabi! We couldn’t be more pleased with their service and the safari and lodge were above and beyond our expectations! We saw a great variety of animals and even were able to have an encounter with lions on a walking safari!

My wife and I couldn’t be more happy with the overall experience and would recommend both Discover Africa and Little Bush Camp to anyone looking for a luxurious safari experience at a great price!
