The tour was amazing. Everything was as advertised. The lodges selected for us were really nice All the guided tours allowed us to see all kinds of animals. The guides were very knowledgeable.
In general, we were very pleased with our experience.

Discover Africa has planned our trip start to finish…It was completely stress free and exactly in line with what we wanted. We had an amazing holiday and everything was extremely well organised and managed. We would definitely recommend!

Discover Africa planned our 10 day trip across Botswana and Zimbabwe. From the very first call, Vihann at Discover Africa was hugely knowledgeable and communicative and understood our brief perfectly. Vihann was quick to send us a first itinerary and responsive to any comments we had to help us create the perfect trip. In the run up to the trip, Vihann remained on hand for any questions.

During the trip itself, the organisation was seamless and the lodges that Vihann had chosen were exactly what we were looking for – relaxed luxury, close to nature and small-scale. Planning our trip with Discover Africa was a great experience, which I would highly recommend!

We used Discover Africa to help us plan and book our Safari Adventure. Devryn was amazing. He really listened to what we wanted, understood what we were looking for, stayed within our budget and booked the perfect experience for us.

All details were taken care of, including selecting the best safari lodges, booking the flights to and from, and then communicating to the lodges where and when to expect us. The care and professionalism that Discover Africa and Devryn and his team provided allowed us to experience the wonders of Africa without worry or concern… it was an amazing experience filled with awe and joy.

Megan Warrington was our Discover Africa expert. The day after I contacted the company, we scheduled a telephone call to discuss what we wanted on our trip to Africa, our budget, the amount of time we had to spend, and the time of year we wanted to go.

Megan immediately prepared an itinerary, which we tweaked a couple of times. Megan routinely reached out to us during the intervening months, to make sure we had no issues. She was always available by email. The trip she put together was very well planned, so we always knew when we would be picked up for the next part of our adventure. I could not have asked for a better planned safari.

Dee's Botswana Safari Experience

Africa is a fascinating continent. We went with Discovery Africa. We visited South Africa, where we visited Sabi Sand Reserve, where we could see the Big Five and a lot of small animals. Victoria Falls, with its magnificence, and the incredible Botswana, with its different natures, were also in a more remote area where we could share with animals.

Matthys Van Aswegen , created some very good moments for us. The choice of the lodges, Umkumbe, Elephant Valley, and Kadizora camp, were perfect in location, human warmth, and services.
Everything was great!

Highly recommend Timbavati Hilltop lodge, fantastic accommodation, service and location. Arathusa Lodge was great once we asked to be moved to a river view and not a bush view room. Staff were extremely accommodating.

Matthys our tour arranger organised for us a fabulous holiday which was perfect for us. The safari was worth every penny we saw so much and experienced 2 safari parks, Both lodges and game drives were different. Inyati we saw a lot of Game and thanks to the excellent guides, we saw a lot of wildlife up close. Hamiltons had more Game in amongst lodges but couldn’t get close out on drive, But saw more birds. so a good combination. we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Devryn made our entire honeymoon easy, stress free, comfortable, delicious and incredibly memorable. We now have memories that will stick with us for the rest of our lives. He chose 4 accommodations which were all immensely beautiful with staff that made every dollar worth it. Devryn’s consistent communication with us during the planning phase made it easy to figure out and he answered all of our questions very quickly and in depth. I’m not sure what else to say without going into great length other than it is well worth using Discover Africa to book with.

This was our first safari. We were traveling with our 15 year old grandson. Each grandchild gets to pick their trip of choice at 15, and he had selected a safari. My wife and I have traveled quite a lot, but had never gone on safari. We contacted Discover Africa, as well as, several other agencies to assist with our booking.

Most other agencies trips seemed canned, much less flexible and much more costly. Adelle, worked with me to create a wonderful excursion, that fit all of our needs. From accommodations that allowed our grandson and us our privacy, yet kept him close and safe, to effortless connections and transfers, Adelle really hit the mark. I cannot say enough about our stay at Mala Mala!?! It was incredible!!! Our guide Sean was extremely knowledgeable, providing us with once in a lifetime viewings of the Big 5+ EVERY DAY…even saw leopard cubs!!

Thank you Adelle and Discover Africa for what has been one of the best trips of our lifetimes and one that has opened the eyes of our grandson to whole new hunger for travel!!

It was an unforgettable trip, everything was organized to perfection. Susan, my travel agent from Discover Africa, carefully organized this trip for me as a solo traveler and was constantly looking out for me. I felt safe and secure every step of my trip.

From start to finish the trip was not only well planned but every little question we had ( and we had quite a few) was answered quickly and in detail. Adelle was so approachable and even answered our emails at weekends. We were glad to have emergency numbers to contact the team during our trip but we didn’t need them.

The organisation of the car hire was very smooth all the extras we asked for were provided. The tour was superb- exactly what we wanted and the detail of information in the itinerary with contact information and directions was excellent. Occasionally a couple of the driving times were a little optimistic but in a country like Namibia with lots of gravel roads, this was to be expected.

The places we visited were stunning- Fish River Canyon, Kolmanskop, Sossusvlei, Spitzkoppe, Etosha National Park- to name just a few. The Gondwana lodges were excellent and we would definitely recommend them. All in all, an excellent experience and we will definitely use Discover Africa Safaris again.Thank you for organizing an unforgettable trip for us!
