Day 1

South Luangwa National Park

Staying at Kulandila Camp

Arrive at Lusaka airport on time for check-in and enjoy the scheduled flight hop to Mfuwe airport. On arrival, you will be met by the Kulandila Team and assisted to their plane for the 20-minute flight to the lodge. You will land on the airstrip and be driven 25 minutes to the lodge on the river bank.

Kulandila Camp is situated on the magnificent banks of the Luangwa River, which is backed by a lagoon. Four elevated tents are linked by distinct pathways, which allow you to meander to communal areas. There is an adjoining swimming pool and viewing decks with vast vistas of the Luangwa. With an al-fresco style dining area, you will find comfy living spaces and a cosy bar area. Large leather chairs, colonial style furniture and brass finishes transport you to real, authentic safari. You can enjoy a feel like home feeling, chat with your guide to plan your days, and enjoy the delicious food.

Day 2-3

Staying at Kulandila Camp

Your days are filled with a balance of adventure, wildlife viewing and relaxing at the camp.

Enjoy the game drives in a luxury cruiser outfitted with individual seats and custom suspension. Let your guide take you on a morning or afternoon/night drive to explore the beautiful area. They will be able to respond to your interests and curiosity and generously share their knowledge of the wildlife, habitat, and landscape.

Spend a while up close and personal with the wildlife at one of the hides, set up near the lagoons and natural waterholes where wildlife and birdlife are abundant. Patiently wait for the perfect close-up photograph in a comfortable and intimate environment.

And finally, step out of the vehicle and embark on a unique adventure. The South Luangwa National Park is renowned for its ‘walking safari’, offering up-close encounters and the chance to immerse yourself in the bush scents, a truly unique sensory experience.

Day 4

End Of Itinerary

Enjoy a delicious breakfast in camp and say your goodbyes. You will be transferred to the airstrip for the Mfuwe flight, then connecting to Lusaka. Arrive at Lusaka airport, and fly back home; or extend your safari with a stay in Lower Zambezi, Kafue or visiting Victoria Falls.
