Your 5-Day Itinerary

Arrive at Victoria Falls airport, where you are met and transferred to the hotel. Your 4x night stay includes the dinners at the hotel and the breakfasts.

A short 2.5 km from the magical Victoria Falls, and situated in a peaceful residential suburb, Pioneers lodge is in a practical location and an affordable offer. The nostalgic era of the pioneer explorers has been blended with modern amenities; the property is set in lush gardens with large lawns and two swimming pools.

We have included a few scheduled activities for you: a guided tour of the Falls, a sunset cruise on the Zambeze and a half day game drive in the Zambeze National Park.

Exploring the vast genuine wilderness of the Zambezi National Park, these drives set off either in the early morning or mid-afternoon. Using an open four-wheel drive vehicle, the game drive allows the guests to discover many interpretations of the bush and all its inhabitants, related to them by our suitable trained and qualified guides. This is an uncontrived bush experience, covering a genuinely wild, unfenced wilderness area.

The Zambezi Sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River. There are great photo opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets. Flocks of birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline. Clients may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as enjoy the many different bird species.

You can choose to spend the balance of your time at leisure, explore on your own or chat to the travel desk at the hotel. If you would like further recommendation, chat to us and we can book additional activities such as helicopter hops, picnic on the island (in season), tour to Chobe etc.
