Day 1

Linyanti Concession

Arrive at Maun Airport where you are met by our representative who will direct you to the departure are and check in for the scheduled flight to the Chobe enclave area.

On arrival transfer to the lodge via a meandering game drive and relax at the camp before the afternoon activity. You will be back at camp for dinner and night.

Your stay will offer an intimate Chobe safari experience in a private concession on the border of Botswana’s iconic Chobe National Park. The Chobe Enclave teems with wildlife and is best known for its large herds of elephants and buffalo. The camp sits on the banks of the Linyanti Wetlands – a significant area that is one of the primary sources of water during the drier months.

You can look forward to exceptional and diverse wildlife encounters year-round.

Day 2-3

Staying at African Bush Camps Linyanti Expeditions

Spend your time exploring the raw African wilderness on thrilling game drives, learn about the fascinating fauna and flora on walking safaris or float serenely along the waterways in a mokoro (water level dependent).

Wildlife sightings include elephant, kudu, sable antelope, zebra, wildebeest, gemsbok, the rare and endangered roan antelope, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, hyena, and many other wildlife species.

Day 4

Khwai Community Area

Staying at African Bush Camps Khwai Lediba

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to be transferred by helicopter to your next camp.

Khwai is a predator-rich area. There are high concentrations of predators and a healthy population of wild dog. Species to be viewed include elephant, buffalo, zebra, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, giraffe, eland, sable, hippo, hyena and various other nocturnal species.

Arrive at camp and relax before the afternoon game drive; you will be back at camp for dinner and night.

Day 5-6

Khwai Community Area

Staying at African Bush Camps Khwai Lediba

During the day, you can enjoy game drives, walking safaris and mokoro safaris (water levels permitting) on the search for Africa’s big attractions including lion, cheetah, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, hippo and giraffe. In addition, you can head off on night drives and get an up-close and personal experience with some of Africa’s nocturnal and more elusive animals.

Khwai’s biggest drawcard is undoubtedly the plentiful and extraordinary wildlife – you’ll never be bored here!

Day 7

End of Itinerary

Last morning in the bush, time to say your good byes and, after breakfast, the road transfer to the airstrip awaits. Fly to Maun and time at leisure until your onward flight back home, or contact us to extend your safari. You can either explore a different region, such as the Makgadikgadi Pan, or a water only based camp in the Delta, or fly to Victoria Falls for example.
