Day 1

Greater Windhoek

Staying at Na’an ku se Lodge

Arrive at Windhoek Airport, you are met by our representative and transferred to Na'ankuse. Located only 30-minutes from Hosea Kutako International Airport, the award-winning Naankuse Lodge offersa range of accommodation amidst a 3,200-hectare nature reserve. The lodge is a not-for-profit eco-tourism establishment, where all profits are plowed back into supporting our charitable projects under the Naankuse Foundation.

Day 2

Okonjima Nature Reserve

Staying at Okonjima Luxury Bush Camp

After breakfast, transfer to the Car Rental agent to pick up the car rental. You will self-drive for the rest of the tour, with a detailed info booklet with maps and direction to assist you along the way. Drive through to Okonjima (260 kms/3 hours) to arrive on time for the afternoon activity. The Okonjima Nature Reserve sprawls over 200 km² of undulating plains, mountainous outcrops, and riverine thickets.

Visit of the Africat Foundation followed by a night drive. The AfriCat Foundation was born in the early 1990’s, a Namibia registered non-profit organization which started out primarily as a welfare organization, and has since become focused on educating Namibia’s youth and on research projects which are essential in accomplishing its mission of the long term conservation of Namibia’s wildlife in their natural habitat, but in an enclosed conservation area. To effectively manage carnivores and other species within a closed reserve, a thorough understanding of their altered ecology is needed to make informed management decisions.

Dinner is included at the lodge, and enjoy the evening under a star stubbed sky.

Day 3

Okonjima Nature Reserve

Staying at Okonjima Luxury Bush Camp

Today's excursions include leopard tracking in the morning, and rhino tracking in the afternoon (weather permitting).

The leopards are actively tracked, and their collars are an invaluable resource for locating, and then returning to the Reserve, cats which have migrated to surrounding farmland where they are perceived as threats to livestock.

You will have some time to relax and enjoy the pool, while dinner is included at the lodge.

Day 4

Ongava Private Game Reserve

Staying at Ongava Tented Camp

Continue your journey up North to reach Ongava Game Reserve (250 kms / 3 hours). Arrive on time for lunch, check in and relax before the afternoon game drive, back at the lodge for dinner.

Chat to the camp manager to schedule your days, there are many scheduled game viewing activities, as well as a visit to their research centre.

On the southern shoulder of the Etosha National Park, Ongava Private Game Reserve occupies 30,000 hectares — more than 74,000 acres — of pristine Namibian bushland. Rhinos were the first species to be relocated to this wilderness when it was transformed from unproductive farmland. They are now joined by lions, leopards, elephants, and a wide diversity of other species that were once at home on these plains, and are now at home again.

Your stay includes your meals, selected local beverages and the scheduled game viewing activities.

Day 5-6

Ongava Private Game Reserve

Staying at Ongava Tented Camp

Enjoy your stay at Ongava, with the rhythm of the animals and enjoy the time at leisure while you relax at camp. It is a great way to decompress from the busy days and reconnect with nature. The tented camp provide an intimate, rustic bush experience and you have plenty of space in your Meru-style tent.

There is a busy, floodlit waterhole in front of the camp while dinners are enjoyed around the nearby open-air fireplace and swimming pool. The reserve boasts a number of hides, giving you the best chance to enjoy a sundowner during the stillness of the evening while watching game amble down to the waterhole.

Day 7

Twyfelfontein

Staying at Camp Kipwe

Enjoy a hearty breakfast and depart for Camp Kipwe (350 kms / 4 hours) in order to reach the camp by early afternoon. Your stay includes the meals and 2 activities. We suggest you take some time to relax from the drive today and chat with the camp manager to schedule the next day.

Perched in between rocks, with sweeping views across the Aba Huab valley, Camp Kipwe will surprise you. The setting is one of intimacy and space. An inviting lounge area, where birds fly in to enjoy the water seeping from the rocks, a refreshing swimming pool nestled in the rocks and a scattering of bungalows complete this eco friendly camp. You are free to follow the short walking trails with information showing the names of different plants and trees.

Day 8

Twyfelfontein

Staying at Camp Kipwe

Wake up early morning for the game drive activity, as you explore the surrounding area and search for animal life such as the desert-adapted elephants.

Back at camp and relax before the afternoon excursion to the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein to explore the rock engravings, along with seeing Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes.

Return to camp for a lovely dinner under the star stubbed sly.

Day 9

Swakopmund

Staying at Brigadoon Boutique Guesthouse

After breakfast, take your vehicle and continue the drive towards the coast and the town of Swakopmund (350 kms / 4.5hours). If you depart early, you can detour to view the seal colony at Cape Cross.

Arrive in Swakopmund and check in at the guest house, you are at leisure to explore this little town and enjoy dinner by the sea.

Day 10

End Of Itinerary

Enjoy a relaxing breakfast at the lodge, return the car rental and check in for the domestic flight to Windhoek.

Alternatively, extend with a couple of nights in Sossuvlei.
