Day 6
Mana Pools National Park
Staying at Mana River Camp
Today, you will be driven to the airstrip after breakfast and fly to Mana Pools.
On arrival at the airstrip, meet with your safari guide and drive through to the camp, located about 40 minutes away.
The most remote park in the country, Mana Pools is the first Biosphere Reserve in Zimbabwe. It's known for its big herds of elephant, buffalo, endangered wild dogs, lions and the more shy leopards, cheetahs and spotted hyenas. A rare combination of topography, rainfall and vegetation gives rise to some of the best game viewing imaginable around this network of pools threaded along the Zambezi River.
Mana River camp is located along the Zambezi River within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A quaint and comfortable safari camp with friendly staff providing a homely and authentic safari experience. Chat to your guide who will advise the best time to experience the game drives, walks, and if possible canoeing.
