Day 1

Staying at Farmhouse Rwanda

Arrive at Kigali Airport, where you are met by our driver guide. You are transferred directly to the Volcanoes area, about 2.5 hours drive away. Depending on your flight time, we can arrange a pre-night in Kigali.

You will stop at the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, located near Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park. You will have some free time for a self-guided tour. Immerse yourself in over five decades of gorilla conservation efforts. Visit highlights include a replica of Dian Fossey's forest cabin, original artifacts from her work, a 360-degree theater showcasing captivating gorilla footage, and a virtual reality experience.

Continue to reach the luxury farm stay family estate on time for a late lunch and balance of the day at leisure to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Dinner is included at the farm.

Day 2

Early morning transfer to the HQ, where you start the gorilla trekking.

Embark on an unforgettable adventure deep into Rwanda’s misty Volcanoes National Park, where you’ll trek through lush rainforest in search of endangered mountain gorillas. With every step, the anticipation builds until you come face-to-face with a wild gorilla family, observing their playful interactions and soulful eyes just meters away. Guided by expert trackers, this once-in-a-lifetime experience offers an intimate glimpse into the lives of these magnificent primates in their natural habitat—an encounter that will leave you in awe.

Return to the farm and rest of the day at leisure, chat to the team and book a spa treatment to relax after the trek.

The meals are included at the farm. Only the best ingredients are being used, sourced directly from the farm and its vegetable gardens. From vibrant fruits and vegetables to succulent meats and flavorful herbs.

Breakfast at the farm - today we have included 2x activities:

• Hop on a horse for a riding session or a guided hike by the river and the surrounding area, enjoying the beauty of the scenery and meet with the locals.
• Embark on a guided tour through our thriving fields and lush orchards, where you can witness firsthand the magic of organic farming. Learn about the cultivation techniques and gain insight into the journey from seed to table.

Day 4

End of Itinerary

Breakfast and say your good byes to your farm family.

Drive through to Kigali, stopping for a city tour and a visit to the Genocide museum. Lunch is included at a local restaurant, overlooking the city.

Transfer to Kigali airport on time for your onward flight back home, or we can extend with a few days on safari, or a chimp trekking.
