Victoria Falls (Zambia)

Arrival in Livingstone International airport where you are met and transferred to the lodge. Toka Leya offers front row seats to a daily wilderness spectacle on the banks of the Zambezi River. You can also choose to experience a game drive in the Mosi oa Tunya National park, enjoy a serene sunrise or sunset boat cruise, explore the Victoria Falls ... your day is customized with the diverse daily scheduled activities.

Northern Kafue

Staying at Wilderness Busanga Bush Camp

Early morning wake up for a hearty breakfast before the transfer to the airstrip. Today your authentic Zambian safari is starting with a flight into Kafue. Road transfer to Busanga Bush Camp, your home for the next 2 nights. This is your off-the-beaten-track experience in the remote wilds. Tucked under sycamore fig trees on an island in the heart of the Busanga Plains, this exclusive small camp is the ideal base for watching an unparalleled wildlife extravaganza unfold.   A Kafue National Park safari will see you exploring vast tracts of unspoiled Zambian country. Here lions have adapted to hunt in the swamps, following great herds of semi-aquatic lechwe. The birdlife is thrilling in its diversity and sheer numbers, with numerous regional specials.

Day 6-8

South Luangwa National Park

Staying at Mfuwe Lodge

Today you are transferred to the airstrip to fly in a very different section of the country, the South Luangwa. Arrive at the airstrip and transfer by road to Mfuwe Lodge. This region of the park is renowned for its prolific game, and giraffe, hippos, buffalo, antelope, and crocodile are constant visitors to Mfuwe Lodge’s lagoon. Walking safaris can be arranged on request, but the majority of outings are game drives. In November, the local elephants regularly wander right through the lobby, lured by a nearby wild mango tree. Back at camp, the open plan lounge, dining, and bar areas overlook two lagoons and the wallowing hippo and thirsty wildlife will keep you enthralled. The chalets are scattered around the gardens and secluded verandas outside each provide a lovely vantage point for the comings and goings of the local wildlife.

End Of Itinerary

Last breakfast in the wilderness, transfer by road to the airstrip on time for the local flight to Lusaka International airport. You can connect with your onward flight back home, or contact us to extend your safari.
