Day 1

Entebbe

Staying at No.5 Boutique Hotel

Arrive at Entebbe airport where you are met by our ground representative. Road tansfer to the hotel in town, time at leisure and dinner included.

Far from being a big, noisy African city, Entebbe retains a sense of wild Uganda. Depending on your flight time, we can add a guided tour of the city, or nearby Lake Victoria. Alternatively, you can visit the Mabamba swamp for a chance to view a Shoebill.

Day 2

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Staying at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge

Early morning wake up call and breakfast before the road transfer to the airport. The flight to Kisoro departs at 07h00 and you will arrive by 08:45. You are met by the lodge's representative for the shared road transfer, about 2 hours of the scenic drive.

Located on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge offers easy access to various breathtaking attractions. From picturesque waterfalls to world-famous hiking trails, bird-watching spots, and river sites, there's no shortage of natural wonders to explore.

Arrive on time for lunch and check in at the lodge. This afternoon you have a canoeing activity including on Lake Mutanda. This scenic lake lies just north of Kisoro and makes for a relaxing base from which to explore the area. Take a dig-in canoe challenge on the calm waters with the misty Virunga volcanoes as a backdrop and ringed by papyrus swamp. Return to the lodge for dinner and night.

Day 3

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Early morning wake up call and transfer to the headquarters for the gorilla trekking.

Uganda’s forests (Bwindi Impenetrable and Mhaginga Forests) are home to over half the world’s 1065 mountain gorillas (2020) – the rest live in the neighboring Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Because they do not survive in captivity, preservation of these fragile habitats is essential for the Mountain gorillas' survival.

The trek can last between 2-7 hours depending on where the gorilla family is located on the day. Once spotted, you will have 1 hour to stay with the gorillas, and then return to the headquarters and the lodge. The balance of the day is at leisure to relax. Later in the day, we have included a scenic and cultural walk with a lovely sundowner. Dinner and night at the lodge.

Day 4

End Of Itinerary

Early morning packed breakfast and check out for the road transfer to Kisoro. The return flight to Entebbe departs at 08:45 and you arrive at Entebbe airport around 11:25.
