Okavango Delta

Your honeymoon starts in Maun airport where you are met and assisted with the check in for the scheduled charter flight to the lodge. Spend 3 nights at Sandibe including your meals, local beverages and scheduled game viewing activities. In the heart of the Delta, on the edge of a waterway, you’ll find Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge. Situated on a diverse, wildlife-rich, private concession, Sandibe has exclusive traversing rights over a vast 22,500 hectares (55,600 acres) of wildlife land bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. Enjoy twice-daily game drives that set off early in the morning or late in the afternoon (continuing after nightfall), in the company of local career guides who will do their best to ensure that all your wishes are met. You will be encouraged not only to go in search of the Big Five, but also to appreciate the wonderful array of flora and fauna dotted across the Okavango Delta.

Johannesburg

Staying at African Rock Hotel & Spa

Enjoy your last breakfast in the bush before the transfer to the airstrip, on time for the scheduled flight to Johannesburg. On your arrival, transfer to the hotel and balance of the day at leisure. Your meals are for your account on this day, we will send you some proposals and we can book a special dinner date if you wish (additional cost).

Day 5-9

Bazaruto Archipelago

Staying at andBeyond Benguerra Island

Breakfast and check out before the transfer to the airport on time for your flight to Vilanculos. On arrival, you are met and transferred to the helipad for the transfer to the lodge (this is weather dependent). Check in for 5 nights, you can simply relax and enjoy this luxury African beach resort. Situated off the coast of Mozambique within the protected marine reserve of the Bazaruto Archipelago National Park, this island hideaway is set on a protected lagoon. You can choose to stay active with snorkeling, walks, picnic on nearby deserted island, horse riding or diving excursions; or simply relax on the beach or by the pool. Take a sunset cruise around the bay in a dhow, a traditional wooden sailing vessel with a triangular sail, used by the island’s locals – a unique window on the everyday world of the island’s fishermen. Toast the end of another unforgettable day as you watch the setting sun colour the sea gold.

Day 10

End Of Itinerary

Your last day in paradise … have a leisurely breakfast and pack your bags. Transfer via helicopter (weather permitting) to Vilanculos on time for your onward flight.
