You arrive at Zanzibar airport and connect to the local flight to Pemba.

Depending on your flight times, you might have to stay 1 night in Stone Town. If the tour is booked after a safari, it is possible to fly from the Serengeti/Mara into Zanzibar and into Pemba, chat to us to get the best possible flight routing.

You are met at Pemba airport by the lodge's representative, for the boat transfer to Fundu Lagoon. You have arrived in paradise! Relax before dinner and spend your first night listening to the nature surrounding your room.

The resort layout flows along the contours where the jungle hillside meets the shoreline, making the most of the natural environment to give each room a tremendous sense of privacy alongside stunning ocean views. Bush babies, flying foxes and vervet monkeys all call Pemba home while in the ocean, dolphins, tuna and a magical underwater world of coral reefs and steep ocean drop offs enchant and amaze.

Chat to the camp manager to plan your days, it is up to your preferences if you want to stay active, or simply relax. If you are looking for diving experiences, there is a PADI centre.

Fundu Lagoon offers plenty of opportunity for you to relax and feel pampered during your stay. There are four bars, each reflecting different aspects of the hotel’s locations, shoreline, poolside, jetty and restaurant bar. The spacious open-sided restaurant serves excellent international and Swahili cuisine and, higher up on the hillside, the stunning infinity pool provides far-reaching treetop views over the Indian Ocean.

End Of Itinerary

Last morning in paradise, you will be transferred to the airstrip after breakfast and fly back to Zanzibar. Time at leisure until your flight out, it is also possible to fly to Dar.
