You'll be met at Cape Town International and driven to The 12 Apostles Hotel where you will spend the next 4 nights. Relax after your flight and get ready to explore Cape Town and its surrounds; it's a wonderful city with much to offer.

Majestically located above the Atlantic Ocean, flanked by the magnificent Twelve Apostles and Table Mountain, the hotel is not too far from the vibrant heart of the city. Step out onto the flora and fynbos-framed trails to explore the beautiful setting, with glorious sunsets.

There is a complimentary shuttle service to Camps Bay and V&A Waterfront in the day time.

Staying at Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa

Included in your stay are 2x full day private guided tour. One to Cape Point to discover the wild nature at the "Tip of Africa" and one to the Winelands to indulge in delicious wine tasting and visit the vineyards. The last day is at leisure for you to explore on your own or relax at the hotel, by the pool or book (additional) a spa treatment. Should you prefer to stay busy, let us know and we can book an additional day trip: visit Robben Island, tour the city, hike Table Mountain, cycle or kayak, we can organize it all.

Sabi Sand Nature Reserve

After breakfast, transfer to the airport on time for the flight to Skukuza, located inside the Kruger National Park. On arrival, you are met by our representative for the road transfer to the camp. Arrive at Savanna, check in your executive suite and relax before the first game drive.

Savanna is situated in the internationally famous Sabi Sand Reserve within the greater Kruger National Park Conservancy. The luxury lodge offers an exclusive, personalised and intimate safari experience, with a unique style of tented accommodation. Numerous nearby dams and a series of waterholes in front of the lodge attract many animals, especially in the dry winter months when elephants are daily visitors.

Traversing more than 10 000 hectares of prime bushveld, a Savanna safari provides exceptional opportunities to see the ‘Big 5’ – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino – as well as cheetah, wild dog, hippo, crocodile, an abundance of general game and over 400 bird species. Your stay includes 2 shared game drives, you can also chat to your guide should you wish to experience a bush walk.

Experienced and dedicated game rangers and trackers will impart their amazing knowledge of the natural world, allowing you to unobtrusively enter the lives of the largest and smallest creatures. From the mist shrouding the bush at dawn till the blazing sun sets behind distant mountains, the magic of a Savanna safari will provide incredible photographs and unforgettable memories.

Back at the lodge, the Executive Suite has a canvas roof for an authentic safari ambience and the romance of sleeping in Bedouin-style tents. Canvas roofs are set above solid walls for comfort, privacy and security as well as efficient air-conditioning and fans. You have a freestanding bath, double vanities, double shower and toilet as well as outdoor shower atrium. The bedroom has a plush sitting area and glass doors that open onto a covered patio with private plunge heated pool. Game drives at Dulini traverse a 10,500 hectare property of pristine bushveld that encompasses all of the key ecological systems of this world-famous Reserve. Dulini’s extensive property includes access to 16 kilometres of river frontage along both the northern and southern banks of the Sand River, a key waterway that is renowned for the mature indigenous forests on its banks, as well as excellent wildlife sightings throughout the year. Game drives take place in state-of-the-art, open 4x4 vehicles custom-fitted with individual bucket seats. Twice-daily game drives led by experienced guides and trackers explore this remarkable Big Five wilderness. The Sabi Sand Nature Reserve is famous worldwide for its big cat sightings, but also supports large antelope herds and healthy populations of other predators and general wildlife. It is your last day in the bush. Have breakfast at the lodge and say your good-byes before the road transfer to Skukuza airport. Fly to Johannesburg airport. Time at leisure until your onward flight or contact us to extend your safari.
