Day 1

Arusha

Staying at Katambuga House

Arrive at Kilimanjaro airport and meet by our representative who will transfer you to the luxury guest house. Depending on your time of arrival, an optional tour can be included. Welcome to Tanzania, you will spend the night at Katambuga (dinner included).

Day 2-3

Tarangire National Park

Staying at Oliver’s Camp

Breakfast and transfer to the airport, a few meters away. You will fly hop to the Tarangire national park where you are met by the camp's safari guide and transferred to the South section of the park via a meandering game drive. Arrive at Oliver's on time for lunch and relax before the afternoon game drive. Back at camp for dinner and night. The next day includes the daily game drive and a night drive, you also have the opportunity to experience a walking safari if you prefer, chat to your guide to set up your day. Tarangire is a beautiful park, known for its large herds of elephants and the big baobabs. Staying in a remote area, means that you will encounter very little vehicles and spend more time watching the wildlife.

Day 4

Karatu

Staying at Gibb’s Farm

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip and fly to Manyara. From there transfer to Gibb's Farm where you will enjoy lunch and spend some time to relax and enjoy the property in the afternoon. There are gardens walks to enjoy, or lounge by the pool. Dinner is included at Gibb's with their farm to table concept of super fresh produces.

Day 5

Karatu

Staying at Gibb’s Farm

Today you will experience a full day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater.

The crater, which formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago is "a natural enclosure" for a very wide variety of wildlife, there is a resident population of Ngorongoro lions, as well as wildebeest, buffalo, zebra and rhino. Enjoy a picnic style lunch served under canopy at one of the picnic areas in the Crater. Return to Gibb's in the afternoon, dinner and night.

Day 6-8

Northern Serengeti

Staying at Sayari Camp

In the morning, transfer to Manyara airstrip on time for your flight to Kogatende, in the North of the Serengeti.

Staying in the Northern section allows for excellent game viewing all year long, and a chance to see the Great Migration from about July to October (nature dependent as the herds move as per weather patterns of rain and quality of new grass). Typically in August the herds start crossing the Mara river to get to Kenya's side of the Masai Mara. For the rest of the year, the resident predators are roaming with very little vehicles around, which makes it a perfect base to appreciate this wonderful park.

You will stay 3 nights at Sayari including all your meals, selected beverages, shared game drives. Chat to your tour guide to set up your days, why not experience a full day safari with a picnic lunch and explore the area.

Day 13

End Of Itinerary

Breakfast at the camp and road transfer to the airstrip. Fly to Arusha airport and transfer to Rivertrees where we have booked a day room for you. Time at leisure to relax in the gardens or by the pool and have lunch (for your account). Transfer to JRO is included as per your flight back home, or contact us to extend your trip.
