Discover Africa is a member of SATSA and ATTA®. Your enquiry is obligation-free, with no payment required. Once your trip is confirmed, your booking requires a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your reservation. Final payment is generally due 60 days before departure.

Cancellation of a booking must be made in writing. If the cancellation is received 60 days or more prior to the departure date, 70% of the cost will be refunded. If the cancellation is received more than 30 days but less than 60 days prior to the departure date, 50% of the cost will be refunded. If the cancellation is received less than 30 days prior to the departure date, the total vacation costs will be forfeited.

The currency used depends on the safari destination. There are safari destinations that accept dollars as well as the local currency. Card use depends on the location. Your safari expert will be able to guide you.

What you pack depends on the safari destination you’re heading to. Generally, you should opt for neutral-coloured clothes, like beige, olive green, and brown; sun protection, including sunglasses, a sun hat, and SPF; and closed, sturdy walking shoes.
