Amazing and truly unique experience!

Susan was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and always available to help with every detail. Her knowledge, organization, and passion made the entire safari unforgettable.

Everything was perfectly arranged, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The wildlife, the landscapes, and the overall adventure were simply breathtaking.

This trip was all about making memories, and it did just that. Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Mala Mala Safari Lodge, Victoria Falls, and finally Zanzibar. Our boutique hotels along the way were nothing less than stunning, as was Lanzarac Manor in Stellenbosch. The lasting memory is that of Mala Mala. If I could score it higher than 100%, then I would. So well organised.

Brilliant guide – Geena. The big five, not once but on several occasions. Excellent accommodation and first-rate staff. The whole trip went like a dream thanks to Vihann Van Wyk who checked in with us several times and even checked us in for all of our flights. I’d strongly recommend Discover Africa Safaris to anyone considering a trip to Africa and especially a safari. Well done Discover Africa. One off the bucket list!

My wife and I have dreamed of a safari trip to Africa for years. I found Discover Africa on a Google search and was drawn to them to help us organize the trip of a lifetime. Our expectations were greatly exceeded. Matthys was excellent to work with to tailor a package of experiences that worked so well for us. He listened well to our feedback to enable him to design the entire trip to fit our interests. We were met at each location with warm and knowledgeable guides who made our travel so comfortable and relaxing. The lodges were amazing exceeded only by the game drives where we saw so many beautiful animals in their natural setting. Victoria Falls is so lovely. Meeting local people in their villages was very moving. We have memories and photos that are amazing and will last a lifetime. Thank you for working with us to design and deliver the trip of our dreams!!

Our daughter traveled with us to celebrate her graduation from university. She wishes she had something on her forehead saying ‘Ask me about my trip!’ We love sharing our experiences and photos with anyone who is willing to listen.

We had an incredible safari that started perfectly at our take off airport and continued seamlessly until we arrived back home. We were taken care of by very wonderful and knowledgeable guides and the staff at the lodges were very nice. We ate great food. The safaris were excellent and each camp had a different focus that we enjoyed.

We went to Victoria Falls Safari Club, Chobe Game Lodge, Camp Xakanaxa, Camp Okavango, and Camp Leroo La Tau. We saw and learned about many animals, birds, and vegetation. We loved the variety and if I could change one thing it would be to stay longer at the camps. We have never done a safari before and Megan let us know how everything would work and that let us relax and enjoy Africa. We can not wait to return.

We also went to Cape Town and went on four activities. We enjoyed exploring the Wine Country, learning about Cape Town, and exploring the surrounding area and seeing penguins. We had a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide who made the tours fun. We also went cage diving with sharks and that was beyond belief. Megan listened to what we wanted to do and put together the trip of a lifetime. And, of course, I want to do it again.

This was our first trip to South Africa and I contacted 3 companies for itineraries and quotations.

Discover Africa stood out from the first email contact, offering an amazing itinerary presentation which was so easy to understand and perfect to share with friends and family.

Carli was my contact and she was superb in communication, engaging me with each personal email as if I were the most important client in her day. From first enquiry to booking, we had contact numbers for each of our flights, transfers, accommodation, everything was planned meticulously without any mishaps.

Throughout our trip and beyond Discover Africa were outstanding. This was planned as a once in a lifetime experience but my husband and I have fallen in love with South Africa and will surely return, Discover Africa will undoubtedly be our agent, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I am giving below my feedback about all aspect of the trip from 24th May to 5th June, 2016.

a) Accommodation at Johannesburg, Victoria Falls, Skukuza Rest Camp, Kruger National Park and Cape Town was well located with comfortable rooms as per our requirements.

b) Transfers and Tours at all places was on time and we did have not much of a problem.

c) Flights booked for various places were on time and we were able to maintain our schedule.

d) Two Dinner arrangements at Johannesburg and Cape Town was satisfactory. I have only following comments which if amended will help other travelers.

1) Guide at Victoria Falls was not very helpful. We had to spend some funds to cross the Bridge by walk. I am not sure why this was not included.

2) Kruger National Park – Safari timing during Morning and evening appears to be on fixed irrespective of seasonal variation. This resulted lots of time in movement in darkness which was a waste. This can be easily rectified if Kruger National Park changes Safari timings as per Sun rise and Sun set.

3) Wine Tour at Cape Town should have been included. You ultimately accommodated us at an extra cost. I once again like to convey my sincere gratitude and thanks to you and Discover Africa for arranging this wonderful trip for eight Senior Citizens from India and UK having ages 70+.

I shall definitely recommend Discover Africa and particularly you whenever any of my family and friends plans trip to South Africa and nearby countries.
